Fox Sports has officially announced that the new Tomorrowland film will be released on October 25th.
This will be the third installment of the popular Tomorrowland franchise and is based on the 1984 animated film that featured a small group of children and their parents visiting Tomorrowland.
The film will feature a new storyline, the return of the classic heroes of the franchise and more.
The movie will be directed by David Lowery, who was also behind the successful live-action Tomorrowland films, The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast.
It is set to star Jake Gyllenhaal as Jake and Jada Pinkett Smith as the mother of the young protagonist.
It will also be the first movie to feature Jason Schwartzman, the original star of the original films.
“We’re very excited to finally announce this film’s release date.
It’s been a long road and we’re so thankful to have the incredible talent and support of our amazing creative team behind this film,” said Chris Cantwell, President, Fox Sports.
“Our fans will finally get to see what this movie has in store for them as they head to Tomorrowland this Halloween night, so we can get it out there to make a splash in the world of Tomorrowland.”
The film is based upon the 1984 film by Tom Hanks and Michael Powell, which was based on a story that took place in Tomorrowland, the land of the fairies and the heroes.
The Tomorrowland family, including a young boy named Jimmy, a young girl named Daisy and their grandmother, Lulu, travel to the land to meet their mother.
The children of Tomorrowworld visit the Jungle Book, where they encounter the legendary heroes of Tomorrow and meet their dad, Jack (Hugh Grant).
The children also meet the Jungle Boy (Josh Brolin), a boy who has lost his powers, and the Princess of the Jungle (Laura Dern), a princess who lives in Tomorrowworld and has her own adventures.
The plot of the film centers around Jake and Daisy’s parents, who have returned from Tomorrowland and are preparing to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
The children learn about their parents’ history and their own power, and discover that they are both the descendants of the princess who lived there, and that they also have the power to change the world.
The new film is directed by Tom Hooper, who previously directed The Jungle Busters, The Lego Movie and The Lego Batman Movie.
Hooper is known for his animated films including The Jungle Brothers, My Neighbor Totoro, Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3.
He also helmed the short film The Jungle Boys, which starred Seth Rogen and Jason Schwartzmen.
